Fibromyalgia is one of the most challenging modern day conditions affecting predominantly women.  

 

But what is fibromyalgia?  The diagnosis suggests that a person is suffering from a specific type of pain syndrome which is characterized by widespread areas of pain in all four quadrants of the body.  Sufferers can also experience stiffness, fatigue and difficulty sleeping.

The choices for suffering patients is limited, with most doctors prescribing medication for the pain. However none of these choices offer a “cure” for fibromyalgia.
